Our Story
Brief History
The Lord's Seeds Children School was established in 2005 as a mission and an offshoot of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (The Lord's Chapel). It was born out of the need for a Christian-oriented elementary school that would provide a solid foundation in Christian ethics and sound biblical doctrines. Over the years, the school has pursued this goal vigorously, achieving remarkable results to the glory of God.
The school began operations as a Preschool at 9a Hospital Road, Gbagada. However, due to growth and expansion, it became necessary to relocate to a more suitable environment. The school subsequently moved to its current location at 1 Lateef Shofowora Street, opposite the General Hospital, Gbagada — providing an ideal academic setting conducive to the holistic upbringing of children.
Since its inception, TLS has produced thirteen sets of graduates, all of whom are excelling in their various academic pursuits. Currently, the school has a total population of 120 pupils, spanning both Nursery and Primary levels. TLS is recognised as one of the leading elementary schools in Gbagada and its surrounding areas.
TLS employs a total of 25 staff members, comprising both academic and non-academic personnel. Staff development is a priority, and they are regularly trained through internal and external seminars, conferences, workshops and other career development programmes.
The school is equipped with modern facilities including spacious classrooms, a well-stocked library, a computer room and a playground. Pupils are also exposed to a wide range of competitions — academic, co-curricular, and sporting — both within and outside the school, building confidence and preparing them for a rapidly evolving world.
